Truth behind Harrysong’s Departure from 5star Music ”Monkey dey work Baboon dey chop”

Earlier Today, Harrysong declared that he has left Five Star Music Group, a record label owned by Emeka ‘E-Money’ Okonkwo, brother to popular musician, KCee.

In an interview with Planet TV, he said that his contract with Five Star Music “expired a long time ago”.

According to him:

“We are unveiling a new platform, it’s a music platform. It’s not a label, its a music company owned by Harry Song. It’s not supposed to be surprising. My contract expired a long time ago.

“I was signed as an artiste under Five Star music for writing, music directing, vocal coaching,”

He also took the opportunity to complain about a lack of appreciation.

“Doing all these for everyone – both Five Star and outside the platform – is not a problem for me. Sometimes it bothers me that we are beating farther than it is. What bothers me is not the work. What bothers me is the appreciation. You are helping someone but the person feels he’s helping you.

“You write a song for someone and the person is telling you that if I don’t sing your song, you won’t blow. It’s childishness. I don’t know,” he added.

While tongues have been wagging about his interview and revelation our sources say the ”Baba for the Girls” singer had been complaining silently for months about the unethical practices of his now Former label 5star Music but could never muster the courage to openly depart the company he once called ‘‘ A Music Company without a studio or office’‘ that Harry even went as far as saying  ”If i leave them now them don finish because na me dey write all their songs, which kain monkey dey work baboom dey chop style be that? wey even Soso just dey there dey chop”

According to WotzUp sources Harrysong has always wanted to leave but was hoping things would change but the Last straw broke when the release of his Album was again pushed forward while Kcee was busy recording songs and preparing to release another album.
