A one time chairman , Senate committee on Water Resources , Senator Joseph Waku has called on President Muhammadu Buhari to show Nigerians that his war on corruption is credible by probing former President Olusegun Obasanjo or just forget it.
He further disclosed that Nigerians would consider his efforts fruitless if the former president was left out of investigations by anti-graft agencies.
The 4th Republic Senator in an interview with journalists on the sidelines of the ongoing Annual General Assembly of the Arewa Consultative Forum on Tuesday in Kaduna said ”Look i am 70 years old now and have been active in this game for more than 50 years. Therefore , there is no way i can just look at the totality of what people are saying about corruption and believe it as it has been reported to me. If i have an investigating mechanism, i know that this accusation is real obviously.
