Reports have it that former Real Madrid manager, Zinedine Zidane has called Jose Mourinho to assure him that he’s not plotting anything behind his back.
Mourinho is currently under massive pressure at Old Trafford with Zidane heavily linked to replace him.
Reports have it that Manchester United have held initial talks with Zidane who is currently a free agent.
However, a report from The Sun says Zidane has phoned Mourinho to ease his fears and reveal that his representatives questioned whether he would like the job if it became available.
The report also claim Mourinho has been given a week to turn the Club’s misery around as the Red Devils have suffered humiliating defeats to Watford, Tottenham and most recently West Ham already this season.
They will be facing Valencia in the Champions League this week.

Last month, Jose Mourinho joked that the club won’t sack him at the moment due to the financial implication of his service.
The Portuguese trainer’s condition at the Theatre of Dreams seems too uncertain with reports of his departure dominating the media screens recently.
Manchester united began the league season with a victory over Leicester city, but the Red Devil suffered back to back loss to Brighton and Tottenham, and also got sent packing from the Carabao Cup by Derby County.
He has however joked that the Red Devils won’t sack him just yet due to the huge severance package. In his interview with Italian media Repubblica, he said:
“They say I’m in danger, but I don’t think so”.
“If they sent me away, do you have any idea how much money they would have to give me?!”
