The flood recorded in Bayelsa some time ago, despite causing havoc in so many places, turned out to be a blessing in disguise to some communities.
A picture of some villagers rejoicing over large fishes washed ashore by the heavy flood has since been circulating online. The flood, which was caused by heavy and constant rain, turned out to be a blessing in disguise, as some would put it. Reports have it that the villagers plan to make money out of this whole situation by selling these fishes.

On the other hand, the people residing along the Epie Creek in Yenagoa, who were adversely affected by the flood have complained about the loss of properties.
It was gathered that the water levels rose beyond tolerable limits and wreaked havoc on houses, the environment, and properties of some residents. Due to the development, some residents were said to have temporarily relocated from their homes to seek refuge in other places.
