Coach Julen Lopetegui of Spain has announced his 23-man squad for Russia 2018 World Cup. The list sees Alvaro Morata who is the country’s most expensive player in history left out of the squad. This is after a disappointing 2018/19 campaign with Chelsea.
51-year-old Jueln Lopetegui has won European titles with Spain’s U19 and U21 teams. He took over from Vicente del Bosque after the 2016 UEFA European Championship, and is still unbeaten.
